360i Celebrates 5 Years of Partnership with Harlem Children’s Zone

December 23, 2015

2015 marks the fifth year 360i has proudly supported Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) – a pioneering nonprofit organization with the audacious goal of ending generational poverty in a 97-square block area of New York City.

360i is proud to partner with HCZ and lend our expertise in digital marketing, hands-on volunteering including participation in HCZ’s annual gift wrapping event every year, and financial funding to allow future generations – regardless of gender or race – to have equal opportunities and success.

This year we’re looking to the future, and have created the Harlem Children’s Zone Opportunity Fund at Syracuse University with initial funding to send two HCZ children to its prestigious Newhouse School of Communications to receive world class training in marketing and advertising. Over time, we plan to scale this fund to create opportunities for even more children living in Harlem to successfully enter the advertising industry.

Last year, 360i donated hundreds of toys to charities including HCZ through a first-of-its-kind, socially-fueled #AgencyToyDrive. For every photo of a toy shared in social using the hashtag, we donated a toy to a deserving child.

The year prior, 360i gave the gift of inspiration to thousands of students in Harlem, furnishing HCZ with two emerging technology labs, which are used to empower the future leaders of tomorrow with the tools and technologies they need to create and innovate in the years ahead.

Anyone can support HCZ this holiday season through its #WhatChildrenNeed campaign by sharing in social media what children need to fulfill their potential and visiting the site to make a donation. HCZ’s board will match every online donation through the New Year.
