We’re pleased to share that 360i is a four-time honoree in the 2014 North American Effie Awards, alongside client partners Hanes, Oreo and Oscar Mayer. Winners were announced at a June 5 gala held in New York, where 360i was awarded two Gold Effie Awards in addition to a Silver and Bronze distinction.
The North American Effie Awards honor the most effective marketing efforts of the year. An annual program, the competition attracts case studies from the most effective marketing communications efforts in the United States and Canada. The Effie Awards are famous for their focus on business-building results, in addition to requiring a strong creative idea.
Here’s a look at the winning work:
GOLD: Oreo – The Blackout Tweet: When viewers and commentators alike grappled with an unforeseen break in the middle of Super Bowl XLVII, we saw an opportunity to help Oreo enter the dialogue in a way that would garner the attention and respect of the brand’s audience. The quick-draw piece of social content racked up more than 500 million earned media impressions. Watch the case study video.
GOLD: Oreo – Wonderfilled: Spanning online and offline media, Oreo’s “Wonderfilled” campaign celebrated the universal human attribute of viewing the world with a sense of wonder and curiosity. 360i was Digital Agency partner for this campaign.
SILVER: Oscar Mayer – Say It With Bacon: People love bacon, but they aren’t particularly choosy about which bacon they love. Oscar Mayer asked us to help them prove that their Original 16 Oz. Bacon is truly a cut above the rest, so that more people would seek out Oscar Mayer Bacon by name in the grocery store. “Say It With Bacon” helped create a sales lift for Oscar Mayer during a category sales decline due to rising commodity costs. BRONZE: Hanes – Undercover Color: When Millennial women think of Hanes, they often think of the brand’s comfy fuller-coverage styles. So when Hanes launched a new line of stylish, colorful underwear for young women, they asked us to help bring them out of the comfort conversation and into the fashion conversation. The campaign led to a significant lift in Millennial women who said Hanes is “modern & current” and is “a brand for them.” Watch the case study video.
